Title: The Wasps’ Nest

Based on real events and set in early 1990s Northern Ireland, Bryony, a young Protestant woman, falls for Anthony, a Catholic man. They are forced to conduct their relationship in secret because of sectarianism. On an evening out in rural south Armagh, the couple cross paths with a rogue paramilitary gang. Anthony is killed in cold blood but Bryony manages to escape and hide on a farm where she meets Albert, a reclusive but kind, tough and resourceful man. Together, they must confront the gang, who we learn are also planning an atrocity.

Title: Flying Fish

An unlikely bond forms between a curmudgeonly older man and a young African asylum seeker and they help each other reconnect with their respective families. Yet the hidden motive behind the older man's kindness gradually becomes clear, revealing a dark truth.

Title: The Shadow Within

Format: Feature Film

Disowned after an unplanned pregnancy and abandoned by her boyfriend, a young woman seeks refuge with a church group, only to discover they are a sinister cult obsessed with her unborn baby. After fleeing their clutches to protect herself, she finds no solace in the city as a strange voice torments her, twisting her surroundings and driving her towards madness. An old doctor with a hidden history intervenes and reveals the cult's true, horrifying intent. They don’t want her baby, but an ancient evil residing alongside it, in her womb.

Title: Nighthawkers

Format: Feature Film

When miscreant Gary unearths ancient gold on private land belonging to wealthy businessman Christian Moncur, he is returned to prison, receiving a harsh prison sentence for failing to declare the treasure. However, knowing his teenage daughter, Lisa, is vulnerable, he opportunistically escapes to protect her.  Lisa meanwhile, has decided to get the treasure back from Moncur and secretly visits his country estate. Gary realises what  Lisa is up to and the pair are reunited, only to inadvertently uncover a political conspiracy, led by Moncur. They quickly realise the gold is just a side issue in a more nefarious game.

Title: Scrambled

Based on real events and set in the 1980s, an idealistic nurse discovers the secretive and unpleasant realities of mental health care when he starts work at a rundown, Victorian-built, psychiatric hospital. He uncovers and confronts abuse and institutional corruption, ruffling the feathers of his colleagues. However, his past soon catches up with him, and an old threat he was trying to avoid becomes a clear and present danger. 

Title: Prey Drive

Format: Television Drama - 6 x 50’ episodes 

Genre: Crime drama / thriller

Development: Draft 6 

Two entitled friends, Mike and Darren, feel trapped in unhappy marriages and seek escape by dating younger women. However a date ends in tragedy when a concrete block thrown from a bridge kills hits their car and kills one of the women, Abi. A predatory killer, Frank, witnesses the aftermath and, sensing a cover-up by Mike, abducts the other woman, Beth, and threatens to expose the men’s secret.

Driven by fear of losing his privileged life, Mike convinces Darren to conceal Abi's death. At the same time, fed up with Mike and Darren’s indifference, their wives, Karen and Melanie, independently pursue their own desires.

Frank then escalates his torment, revealing to Mike and Darren that Beth is still alive. He raises the stakes and targets Karen, forcing Mike and Darren into a desperate, violent confrontation to save Beth and finally face the consequences of their selfish actions.
